Southern Leyte State U- Main Campus celebrated World Teacher’s Day with its theme, “The Transformation of Education Begins with Teachers,” today, October 5, 2022 at the Multi-purpose Court (MPC).

The event intended to honour teachers for their accomplishments in the university, as well as, their contribution to society.

The students warmly expressed their appreciation  towards their teachers by giving of tokens.

“It takes passion, grit, and a lot of scoops of dedication to stay and be a winner in the teaching field,” said the university president, Dr. Prose Ivy G. Yepes during her inspirational talk.

The successful event was spearheaded by the Supreme Student Council headed by the president,  Mr. Sanny Sarcilla.
