The Faculty of Technology and Vocational Education (FTVE) of Southern Leyte State University- Main Campus (SLSU-MC) held it’s Passers’ Recognition Program today, January 15, at the Multi-Purpose Court (MPC) honoring 98 Newly Licensed Professional Teachers from both BEED and BTLED Programs who recently passed the September 2024 Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET).
The program officially commenced following the grand entrance of the esteemed LET passers.
Dr. Josefina O. Carpentero, Dean of FTVE, delivered the opening remarks praising their remarkable perseverance and excellence while emphasizing the significance of this huge milestone.
Dr. Marie Khul C. Langub, Vice President for Student and Auxiliary Services (SAS), stirred the audience with her inspirational message, highlighting their resilience, patience, and strong resolve in overcoming challenges. She also emphasized that they are not just passers, but achievers.
Dr. Constantino G. Medilo Jr., Vice President for Academic Affairs, along with Dr. Marie Khul Langub and Dr. Josefina O. Carpentero led the distribution of certificates to the LET passers.
Ma’am Rochel Cabel and Sir Ronel Hope Bustamante, from BEED and BTLED Program respectively, shared their testimonies, expressing gratitude to their mentors, family, and institution while offering valuable advice to the aspiring teachers who will follow their footsteps.
Dr. Lorelie J. Paloma, the BEED Program Chair expressed her gratitude to the Newly Licensed Professional Teachers and to all the people behind the successful event during the closing remarks of the program.
This recognition ceremony serves as a testament to Southern Leyte State University’s unwavering commitment to producing high-quality educators who will shape the future of the nation.
