Students of Southern Leyte State University-Main Campus (SLSU-MC) participated as volunteer blood donors in the bloodletting activity entitled, “Dugo Mo, Kinabuhi Ko,” December 7, 2023, conducted at the USSC Plenary Hall.
The activity aimed to promote and encourage the students of SLSU to volunteer in blood donation activities, so as to spread consciousness on the importance of voluntary blood donation in saving lives who need blood transfusions, particularly in the hospitals of Southern Leyte.
The Health Services Office and the National Service Training Program (NSTP), supported by the personnel of the Philippine Red Cross-Maasin City Chapter and Rural Health Unit-Sogod, worked together in directing the safety and success of the activity.
