The Philippine Society of Mechanical Engineers – Southern Leyte State University Student Unit (PSME – SLSU SU) held a recognition program for passers of the August 2023 Licensure Examination for Mechanical Engineers at the Multi-Purpose Court (MPC) today, Aug. 23.

The activity started with a parade, which was attended by the College of Engineering (CoE) students, together with the passers.

Newly licensed engineers, Engr. Chrisbert G. Alvar, Engr. Peter Jhames D. Dizon, and Engr. John Paul A. Mantilla, delivered their inspirational message as the main highlight of the program. However, Engr. Michael Lou G. Painagan, also one of the four passers, was not able to attend the program due to some circumstances, hence his part was given to the parents of Engr. Mantilla who gave a fresh perspective to the first-year students.
