Southern Leyte State registers another batch of Newly Licensed Civil Engineers

Southern Leyte State University has once again demonstrated its excellence in producing licensed civil engineers, with seven (7) newly licensed in the recent April 2023 Civil Engineer Board Examination.

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) released the results on April 29, 2023, revealing that Engr. Crisly S. Amizona, Engr. July M. Balsamo, Engr. Jediah L. Gabiana, Engr. Clarise L. Calaycay, Engr. Jacquilyn C. Gildo, Engr. Miriam M. Malda, and Engr. Joshua B. Ombina have passed the exam.

SLSU posted a passing rate of 21.43% for first-time takers, and an overall passing percentage of 19.44%, reflecting the university’s dedication to producing competent and skilled engineers.

De La Salle University’s Garret Wilkenson Sia and Mariano Marcos State University’s Alexis Alegado topped the exam with a remarkable percentage of 92.10.

The Civil Engineers Licensure Examination was given by the Board of Civil Engineering in various testing centers across the country, including National Capital Region, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Palawan, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga.

Southern Leyte State U’s latest achievement is a testament to its commitment to providing quality education and producing top-notch graduates in the field of engineering.
